Serves: 8 (4 tablespoons per serving)


  • 10 ounce package frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
  • 1 cup Daisy Cottage Cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 garlic clove, finely chopped
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper


In a medium bowl, stir together all the ingredients. Serve with pretzel chips or bagel bites. *Tip: Try spreading this high-protein dip into hollowed out mini pepper halves, celery sticks or Belgian endive.

Since a rating was required I rated a 5 even tho I have not tried it yet, I know I will love it! I just had to share what my Mother used to make pretty much once a week which is very much like this. It still does not last long at my house! Same amount or more cottage cheese, same amount of spinach and the only other ingredient is finely minced white onion (must be white for this recipe), oh and lots of freshly ground black pepper and salt to taste. That is it! So simple. refreshing and delish! Goes with anything!

I made this as an appetizer for Thanksgiving last week and it was a hit! So creamy and even the kids liked it! It's definitely a keeper!

I love spinach anything, Spinach cold dip, spinach spread with artichokes and parmesan, that is baked, So I went ahead and made this dip and used the tiny rye bread SLICES TO SERVE it. They rye b read slices went over very well, but I was wondering if anyone had ever served it hot, What does everyone think??? If I were to bake it, do you think 350 degrees for, HOW LONG, DO YOU THINK?
