In a 1-pint wide mouth jar, mix the oats and milk. Mix the cottage cheese with the bananas. Spoon over the oats. Top with the remaining ingredients. Cover; refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight. Stir before serving.
Tip: Instead the bananas, strawberries, peanut butter and jam, try one of the following topping combinations. 1) 1/4 cup finely chopped pineapple, ½ thinly sliced kiwi, 1 tablespoon flaked coconut, and 1 tablespoon of coarsely chopped nuts, added just before serving. 2) 1/4 cup diced dates and 1 tablespoon maple syrup, and 1 tablespoon of pecans, added just before serving. 3) 3 tablespoons blueberries, 3 tablespoons sliced strawberries, 5 large blackberries, and 1 teaspoon honey. 4) 4 sliced strawberries, 1 tablespoon miniature semisweet chocolate chips, and 2 teaspoons of sugar, if desired.
