  • 18.25 ounce box lemon cake mix
  • 1 1/2 cups oats
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 3 eggs, divided
  • 16 ounce can lemon icing
  • 3 ounces cream cheese
  • 1/3 cup Daisy Sour Cream


Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Mix the cake mix, oats, butter and 1 egg. Reserve 2 cups of the mixture. Press the remaining mixture into the bottom of a 9x13-inch cake pan. Blend the icing, cream cheese, sour cream, and remaining 2 eggs and pour over the top. Sprinkle the remaining 2 cups of crumb mix over the top and bake for 45-55 minutes. Cool bars to room temperature and then store in the refrigerator. *Optional: Sprinkle with powdered sugar before serving.

I love lemon bars but haven't ever made them with sour cream. I was very pleasantly surprised with how yummy these turned out! Brought them to a bbq and they were gobbled up instantly!

These lemon bars were so good! Perfect amount of lemon, perfect amount of soft, perfect amount of soft. 45 minutes was perfect baking time. I'll have to put a little powdered sugar on the next bar I eat. ;) I was given a free coupon for Daisy Squeeze Sour Cream for testing purposes.

I absolutely love the lemon bars they are (literary speaking) WICKED!!!!!!! If you are a mom you should make this for your young ones and they will love love love them.They wont stop eating , wanting more!!!!
