Serves: 16 (1/2 cup per serving)


  • 1 cup half-and-half
  • 1 14 ounce can sweetened condensed milk
  • 4 cups whipping cream
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1 cup Daisy Sour Cream


Mix all ingredients and pour into ice cream machine bowl. Follow the ice cream machine processing directions. Freeze leftovers. *Optional Flavorings: 8 ounces melted chocolate - blend with condensed milk prior to mixing with remaining ingredients; 2 cups mashed fruit; 1/2 cup chopped nuts; 1 tablespoon flavored extract in place of the vanilla. *Requires a 2 quart machine. If using a 1 quart machine, half the recipe.

This is honestly really good. My oldest suggested I had added more vanilla. I used 1 tsp. The recipe itself is simple, it was my first time using my machine, or ever actually making ice cream. I was shocked that you could make Ice cream with sour cream. This was a fun recipe to make with my girls and I will make this again except would like to try chocolate or blueberry next.. I was given this product in exchange for my review but my opinions are solely my own.
