Guacamole is my thing i can eat a pound in one sitting easily. This had great flavor and texture wasnt watery and slimey like some can be.
We usually use those Old El Paso guac powder packets for our Guac, but we stopped because of all the artificial ingredients in those. So we decided to try this recipe, and it did not disappoint! The guac tasted really fresh and creamy! We are converts and will be using this delicious recipe from now on.
I love avocados and this is the perfect way to use them. The sour cream, which I received through Influenster and Daisy for review purposes, made it soo muh better. I've never used sour cream in guacamole but its amazing. The easy squeeze packaging is great too. Highly recommended.
I am not sure if this recipe was meant to be used with 2 very large avocados, but I used 3 small avocados and the proportions of the other ingredients were too much. I used less than 1 plum tomato, 1/4 of a red onion, 1 tablespoon of lime, etc. and that was plenty. I also used a big spoonful of sour cream and it made the guacamole extra creamy. With the adjusted proportions of ingredients, the guacamole tasted delicious and I would recommend trying it out. Also, I would recommend mashing the avocados before adding the other ingredients because it is much easier to mash avocados if you do not have a bowl full of ingredients. I tried Daisy Squeeze Sour Cream for free for testing purposes, but all opinions are my own.
I make a dip this weekend. I used avocados, tomatoes and Sour Cream. I mixed everything together and made a yummy guacamole dip. I topped it off with tortilla chips. I received the Daisy Sour Cream for free to try out, from Infuenster.
