Ingredients

  • 2 limes, juiced
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 1/2 pounds pork sirloin
  • 1 cup Daisy Sour Cream
  • 1 3/4 cups chicken broth
  • 2 avocados, halved
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1/4 cup chopped white onion
  • 3 tablespoons chopped cilantro
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Tips

  • Cooking Tips:

Avocado vs. Air: Rub 1 tablespoon of olive oil onto exposed flesh of avocado to keep it from turning brown once exposed to air.

  • Reduce grill sticking by oiling your hot grill with a vegetable oil-soaked paper towel: hold it with tongs and rub it over the rack. (Do not use cooking spray on a hot grill.)

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, mix the lime juice, cumin, garlic powder, kosher salt, olive oil, and ground black pepper. Place the pork in the bowl and rub the mixture all over it. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 2 hours.
  2. Grill the pork for 10 minutes on medium-high heat turning once. Reduce the heat to medium, close the lid, and cook for 35 to 45 minutes, or until thermometer in the thickest part reads 160 degrees, turning occasionally.
  3. In blender, place the sour cream, chicken broth, avocados, mayonnaise, garlic, white onion, cilantro and salt. Blend for about 3 minutes or until smooth and creamy. Add additional chicken broth if the mixture is too thick.
  4. Slice the pork and serve with sour cream sauce.
