We used this recipe to make scalloped potatoes and ham. I hate using condensed soup and would rather make from scratch. We sliced the potatoes thinner, added ham but didn't precook the potatoes. We layered this the same and cooked in the over at 200 degrees for about 3 hours (it was just necessary for us, wouldn't have to do it that way) then bumped it up to 325 for the last 1/2 hour. We broiled a little cheese over the top at the end. It was delicious and I know all of the ingredients.
Beautiful ........so easy to make and a favourite to eat. Added some nutmeg and pepper to the sauce seasoning and it gave it another dimension. Lovely recipe - thank you.
I received a coupon to try the new squeeze bottle from Daisy for free. I live scalloped potatoes so decided to try these out. It was delicious. I used Colby jack cheese because it was what I had on hand, but it worked great.
This was a delicious recipe, the potatoes were so rich and creamy- I couldn't believe it! I received a coupon for free Daisy for testing purposes, so I gave the recipe a shot and I loved it!
Excellent I also use Irish sharp Cheever cheese 2/1/2 pounds and they all go
Yes potatoes were already cooked. Did shorten oven time to 20 mins to just heat!
Wonderful dish for the holidays for family and friends
My family looooooves this, since i found it i make it very often. I highly recomend it!!
Have had this before and it tastes lovely but by all logic this method must be over-cooking if all ingredients are fully cooked prior to baking. It should only take 4 - 5 mins at maximum heat to brown in an electric oven.
Thanks for your review.
