Serves: 6 (1/2 cup each)


  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 teaspoons rum extract
  • 1 teaspoon banana extract
  • 1/3 cup apple juice
  • 1/2 cup Daisy Sour Cream
  • 3 large bananas, sliced


In a medium nonstick skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the brown sugar and cinnamon. Cook until bubbly and the sugar is dissolved. Stir in the rum and banana extracts and apple juice. Whisk in the sour cream until the mixture is smooth. Cook until heated. Stir in the bananas and cook only until thoroughly heated. Serve over hot waffles, cake, or ice cream.
