Ingredients

  • 4 cups fresh or frozen blueberries
  • 1/2 cup , plus 1 tablespoon sugar, divided

  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/3 cup Daisy Sour Cream
  • 4 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup milk

Directions

  1. Heat the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Combine the blueberries, ¼ cup sugar, 1 ½ tablespoons flour, lemon peel, and nutmeg in a 10-inch baking dish or skillet; stir to combine.
  3. Whisk 1 1/3 cups flour, 1/4 cup sugar, and the baking powder in large bowl; make a well in the center. Add the sour cream, butter, and milk; stir until a soft dough forms.
  4. Spoon the dough over the blueberry mixture; sprinkle with the remaining 1 tablespoon of sugar.
  5. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until the cobbler is lightly browned and toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Serve warm.
