  • 1/2 cup blanched sliced almonds

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened

  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup Daisy Sour Cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup white vanilla chips
  • 3/4 cup dried tart cherries, coarsely chopped
  • 1/2 cup blanched sliced almonds

Directions

  1. Heat the oven to 375 degrees.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, beat the butter, oil, granulated sugar and brown sugar with an electric mixer on medium speed until creamy.
  3. Add the egg, sour cream, and vanilla and beat until well mixed. Add the flour, baking soda and salt. Mix on low speed until thoroughly mixed. Stir in the vanilla chips, cherries, and almonds.
  4. Drop about 2 tablespoon sized balls of dough 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets.
