Ingredients

  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 ounce package original ranch salad dressing mix, divided
  • 1 cup Daisy Sour Cream, divided
  • 4 hamburger buns, lightly grilled if desired
  • 4 large lettuce leaves
  • 1/4 tomato, diced
  • 1/4 red onion, diced

Directions

In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, 2 tablespoons dressing mix, and ¼ cup sour cream; mix well (the mixture will be soft). Form the mixture into 4 burgers. Top each burger with a lettuce leaf and ¼th of the diced tomatoes and onions. Place a dollop of dressing on top of each burger before serving. *Optional – try adding sliced avocado and sliced cheese to the burgers, if desired.

We like eating ground turkey because we feel it is better for us than ground beef. We have tried every turkey burger on the market, at fast food restaurants, frozen patty in the frozen foods section of the grocery stores and even at the so-called-good burger restaurants. but they all left us wanting a BETTER Turkey Burger. This recipe is not just BETTER, but the BEST we have ever had. This Daisy Sour Cream California Ranch Burger recipe comes out moist, tender and delicious. The only addition we add to the ingredients is we mix in fresh ground black pepper to taste. Our trick is to prepare the mixture, shape into burgers, then freeze them individually on parchment paper for about an hour. We then GRILL the burger to give it that authentic burger taste- we love grilled burgers! And, if we don't need all burgers after we freeze them individually, we then seal them in a good zipper/freezer bag until we need them. These burgers grill up perfectly from frozen! YUM! :-)

Made these burgers tonight and they were a certain hit with all my guys! I was pleased with how juicy they were. I look forward to making them again! I did receive Daisy Sour Cream pouch free, though these thoughts are mine entirely.

The kids were complaining that my burgers were boring so I decided to try this recipe to liven things up. It worked! The burgers came out full of flavor and juicy. I will totally be making these again. I tried Daisy Squeeze Sour Cream for free for testing purposes, but my opinions are my own.
