  • 8 slices French bread
  • 1 cup Daisy Cottage Cheese
  • 1 teaspoon grated lemon zest
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 3/4 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1 tablespoon honey


Heat the oven to 425 degrees. Line a small rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper. Arrange the bread on a baking sheet. Bake for 5 minutes; turn and continue baking for 2 to 3 minutes or until lightly toasted. Remove the bread. Place the blueberries on the pan. Bake for 5 minutes or until blueberries are hot and juicy but not burst. Meanwhile, combine the cottage cheese, lemon peel and nutmeg in a small bowl. Spoon the cottage cheese onto the toasted bread, top with the warm blueberries, and drizzle with honey.
