2 1/2 cups assorted berries (strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, or raspberries)

Pound cake or other purchased cake may be used in place of angel food cake.
Directions
Beat the cream cheese with the powdered sugar until smooth.
Mix the sour cream with the vanilla. Fold the sour cream mixture into the cream cheese mixture and then fold in the whipped cream. Set the mixture aside.
Slice the cake into three layers. Spread the first layer with the cream mixture and sprinkle with half of the berries. Repeat the layers, omitting the berries on the top layer.
Frost the entire cake with the remaining frosting.
Decoratively arrange a few berries on top, if desired.
