  1. Heat the oven to Broil.
  2. Cut the peppers in half lengthwise. Remover the pepper ribs and seeds. Place the cut sides up on a broiler pan.
  3. Broil 3 to 4 inches from the heat for 5 to 7 minutes or until the edges are browned and the peppers are slightly soft. Cool slightly.
  4. In a medium bowl, mix the remaining ingredients.
  5. Spoon the cottage cheese mixture into the peppers.
  6. Garnish with additional oregano if desired.
