Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups baking mix
  • 1/4 cup , plus 1 tablespoon cold butter, divided
  • 1 cup Daisy Cottage Cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup 2% milk
  • 2 tablespoons chopped chives
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the baking mix and ¼ cup of cold butter until it forms coarse crumbs.
  3. Make a well in center of the dry ingredients. In the center of the well add the cottage cheese, shredded cheese, and milk. Stir just until moistened.
  4. Drop the dough by heaping tablespoons onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and sprayed with nonstick spray.
  5. Bake for 12-15 minutes.
  6. Meanwhile, melt the remaining 1 tablespoon of butter and stir in the chives and garlic powder. Brush the butter mixtures on the tops of the cooked biscuits once immediately after being removed from the oven.
