Ingredients

  • 10 eggs, beaten
  • 1 1/2 cups 2% milk
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 8 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 3 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups Daisy Cottage Cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil

Directions

Preheat the oven to 325 degrees. Spray an 8.5x11-inch casserole dish with cooking spray. Beat together the eggs, milk, and sugar in a medium bowl. Add the butter, cream cheese, Cheddar cheese, and cottage cheese to the egg mixture and stir well. Add the flour and baking powder; mix well. Stir in the basil. Pour the mixture into the prepared pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 45-55 minutes. *Optional: For additional color try adding red or green bell peppers and onions with the basil addition.
