Quick Strawberry Shortcake

  • 1 cup Daisy Sour Cream
  • 1/4 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
  • 4 cups sliced strawberries
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 8 small prepared shortcakes or sponge cakes


Stir together the sour cream and brown sugar in a small bowl; cover and chill. Combine the berries and 1 tablespoon sugar in a medium bowl; cover and chill. When ready to serve, layer each cake with berries and the sour cream mixture.
