Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Spray an 8-inch baking pan with non-stick spray and set aside.
Mix the flour, salt, and pecans together in a medium bowl. Combine the brown sugar, sour cream, and vanilla in a large bowl; stir until well blended. Add the eggs and stir until combined. Stir in the chocolate into the batter. Add the dry ingredients and stir until well combined.
Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan. Bake for 40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean. Cut into bars while still warm, but cool completely in pan before removing.
