Served this - having never made it before - to 30 people. Everyone LOVED it. Easy to make. Will be a permanent addition to my recipe box! Found the recipe in Martha Stewart Living magazine as an advertisement.

Wow. This was so VERY good. My guests loved it. Serves way more people than they say though. I served it with a warmed baguette sliced.

This dip is fantastic! I bring it everywhere I need to prepare a pot luck item. It is so simple and people love it. One thing though, I never use bacon bits - ew! I always cook regular bacon and crumble it, usually using 8 oz. per recipe. It is rich, of course, but a crowd pleaser, especially if the crowd consists of a lot of guys :)

This is a super easy dip that always goes at parties. My husband likes me to make extra and he will put it on crackers for a meal. It is really rich and reheats decently.
