Sour Cream Waffles

Ingredients

2 cups flour

1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda

2 teaspoons baking powder

1/2 teaspoons salt

2 eggs

1 cup Daisy Brand Sour Cream

1 1/2 cups buttermilk

1 cup pecans, blueberries, or mashed bananas

Directions
Mix dry ingredients. Add eggs, buttermilk, and the sour cream. Beat until smooth. Fold in optional pecans, blueberries or bananas mashed if desired. Beat until smooth. Pour 1/4-1/3 cup of batter onto the middle of a hot waffle iron sprayed with non-stick cooking spray. Cook approximately 3-4 minutes, until waffles are light brown and fluffy. Serve topped with powdered sugar, fruit or syrup.
*It’s important that the blueberries (frozen are best) be gently folded in and not mixed in to prevent the batter from changing to a purple color.
