Ingredients

  • 1 pound fresh tuna steaks
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 cup Daisy Sour Cream
  • 1/2 cup chopped cilantro leaves
  • 2 tablespoons capers, drained
  • 2 teaspoons white wine vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon spicy brown mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1/4 teaspoon cracked black pepper
  • 1 pinch salt

  • Cooking Tip:

    Reduce grill sticking by oiling your hot grill with a vegetable oil-soaked paper towel: hold it with tongs and rub it over the rack. (Do not use cooking spray on a hot grill.)

Directions

  1. Rinse and pat dry the tuna steaks. Rub both sides of the steaks with olive oil.
  2. In a small food processor bowl place all the remaining ingredients; process for about 30 seconds or until the ingredients are well mixed. Set the mixture aside.
  3. Prepare the grill to medium high heat. Place the prepared tuna on the grill.
  4. Cook for 4 minutes on first side. Carefully turn the fish over. Continue cooking for 2 to 3 minutes or until pink in the center.
  5. Serve the tuna steaks with a heaping tablespoon of the cilantro cream sauce.
